Independent contractor Emergency Medicine group is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine or Family Practice Physician with ED experience to expand current practice. Group is located in Hendersonville, TN, a suburb of Nashville, TN. Annual ER visits in 2008 were approximately 30,000. The 15-bed ER is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Priority candidates will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience and Boarded in Emergency Medicine by ABMS EM.
Physicians are paid per hour and typically work 8-10 hours per day. Shifts are rotated among all members of the group of 6 physicians and goal is to achieve a schedule of 12 -- 13 shifts per month for full-timers. Weekends and holidays are swapped among all members. There are no in-house responsibilities while on duty.
Group provides hourly rate, malpractice coverage, CME, reimbursed interview expenses, and paid relocation. |
