The 4 internists recently decided to use the hospitalist staff at the hospital right next to the main facility. If however you wish to remain involved with your hospitalized patients this can be arranged as well.You would be seeing patients in a modern facility and the Clinic is well ahead of the curve in EMR implementation having begun the use of EMR in 2005. PC's are located in every exam room giving you access to data from both the Clinic as well as from the hospital.Full range of benefits included health dental 4 weeks paid vacation.A full range of sub-specialty physicians are available as needed. You will find the practice to be collegial with partners always willing to discuss a patient with you.The Clinic is structured as a professional corporation with physicians as both employees and shareholders. There is no 1buy-in1 to the group and they operate on a one-person-one-vote philosophy. Typical schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off. 12 hour schedule. You will see an avg. of 15-20 a day 5-7 of these are new admits. Patients in ICU will be yours to follow but they do have an Intensivist. No vents.
