Geriatrician Needed at Lee's Summit Medical Center.
Lee's Summit Medical Center is committed to providing excellent care to their seniors and is looking to expand their current services.
This Geriatrician will be responsible for seeing patients (along with a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner) in 4-5 nursing homes. If a patient is admitted to the hospital either the Geriatrician or Geriatric NP will round on the patient.
The candidate will be either fellowship trained in Geriatrics or have experience in working with the elderly population in either nursing homes or clinic. For the right candidate, a Medical Directorship is possible. The Medical Director will work with a Geriatric Administrator in the development of protocols, procedures and discharge planning for the Geriatric Service Line at LSMC. |
