Grand Strand Regional Medical Center is seeking a board certified, fellowship trained geriatrician for their South Strand Senior Center! Office is located in the middle of a high growth area with excellent public schools and outstanding housing options within minutes. Each of the three Senior Health Centers is co-located with diagnostic imaging and laboratory services to provide convenient access and continuity of care for our patients. Offices are staffed with a social workercommunity resource coordinator as well as an RN for each physician.
Practices are limited to geriatrics (55+ yrs old) with appointment time slots commensurate with the need to properly care for geriatric patients
NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS -- NO PAGERS!!
Practices are outpatient only (M-F, 8 - 4:30)! Admissions are handled by hospitalist service
Candidates must be fellowship trained in Geriatrics and board certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
Physicians will be employees of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center (3 year contracts). Very competitive compensation package being offered including starting salary of $160K, benefits, retirement plan, CME allowance as well as several other negotiable incentives.
