Las Palmas Medical Center has 300 beds and is also a full service, acute care facility. With 500 physicians and 850 staff, Las Palmas is fast becoming El Paso's hospital to go to for Neuro Services.
*Current 6 bed unit opened in October, 2007.
*467 cases in the past ten months.
*Expansion in 2010: Two new, state of the art $16M Neuro OR's and a new, state of the art, 10 bed Neuro ICU.
*Stroke Certified in December, 2007.
