Extreme community need. New solo physician to have full support of medical center and referring physicians. Will be busy in a very short period of time.

Will also consider bringing in new physician to join existing practice.

Compensation: Income Guarantee based on experience, relocation reimbursement, marketing and sign-on bonus. The neurologist will be very busy within the first three to six months. Call not expected to exceed 10 days per month.

Requirement: BE or BC -- ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not a must.

Medical Center: Knowledgeable, dedicated & energetic support staff, very supportive administration.

Del Sol Medical Center has 342 beds and is a full service, acute care hospital. Medical Center has 500 physicians and 1300 staff. Del Sol has a 24 bed ICU, 15 bed Cardiovascular ICU, 23 bed Inpatient Rehab Department.

Las Palmas Medical Center* has 300 beds and is also a full service, acute care facility. With 500 physicians and 850 staff, Las Palmas is fast becoming El Paso's hospital to go to for Neuro Services.

*Current 6 bed unit opened in October, 2007.

*467 cases in the past ten months.

*Expansion in 2009/2010: Two new, state of the art $10.5M Neuro OR's and a new, state of the art, 10 bed Neuro ICU.

*Stroke Certified in December, 2007.

Community: El Paso is the 5th largest city in Texas with a population of 750,000 and enjoys outstanding year round weather. The cost of living is low and the medical community is sophisticated and welcoming to new physicians. It has small town closeness with the amenities of large city.
