Lutheran Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center and Hypothermic Center seeing 65,000 annual visits. Dr. Bonnie Simmons, Chair of Emergency Medicine, is an expert in emergency department operations, patient flow, customer satisfaction, and disaster medicine. Dr. Tom-meka  Archinard is the Vice Chair of the department.

We are currently interviewing physicians interested in a full time position in the Emergency Department of Lutheran Medical Center.

The current ED staff consists of 15 top-notch full-time Emergency Medicine trained physicians from various residencies throughout the area as well as 30 Physician Assistants. We have 75 hours of physician coverage per day and an active triage/fast track unit called TTR (triage treat and release) staffed by Physician Assistants, which sees 50 patients per day.
