HCA and The Colorado Health Foundation announce an additional position with the teaching hospitalist service at Presbyterian/St.Luke's in midtown Denver
IM Hospitalists serve as direct teaching attendings for inpatient teams composed of a resident and 2 interns. Their primary clinical responsibility will be to admit unassigned patients from the emergency room, along with occasional consults from subspecialty services. The clinical workload is lighter than most hospitalist positions as the primary focus is education. The service is co-funded by a nonprofit organization (The Colorado Health Foundation www.coloradohealth.org
) and the hospital (Presbyterian St. Luke's www.pslmc.com). Members of the hospitalist team will have faculty appointments to the University. http://www.uchsc.edu/sm/intmed/ Competitive salary and full benefits, paid relocation.
The ideal candidate will be BE or BC MD with a strong track record of teaching excellence.
